Shaun has over 10 years’ experience as a management consultant in addressing the needs of societies and economies.

His expertise is in developing the strategic rationale, business case and management systems for cities to plan and implement economic development, sustainability and smart city initiatives.

Shaun has worked on a number of high-profile and transformational engagements such as developing the UAE’s Green Growth strategy to decouple its economy from hydrocarbons, Ethiopia’s urbanization strategy to create a new middle class, and market-based sustainable city plans for Los Angeles and San José. Recently, his work is bringing him to explore issues around the future of mobility; specifically vehicle electrification and autonomy, the energy-transport nexus and creating equitable transportation systems.

Prior to joining Guidehouse, Shaun was a policy and economics consultant with PwC in London, Abu Dhabi and San Francisco. He previously worked for the European Commission on energy efficiency standards, and World Bank-IFC on sustainable energy financing in South Asia. In his early career, Shaun worked as a consultant engineer on various integrated infrastructure masterplans and urban developments.
