Sandra is focused on persuasive technology in the urban landscape, particularly using data and technology to build communities. She graduated from the University of the Arts Berlin majoring in Psychology and Innovation.

This background paired with her enthusiasm for slim cities opened the doors at the MIT Media Lab where she was selected as one of the “100 Most Creative People in Business” by Fast Company for her work in and around cities.

In 2014 alongside 2 co-founders she started, Soofa, with the mission to create more dynamic and welcoming public spaces that bring people together. Since then Soofa has deployed smart urban technologies in 100+ cities. Their latest product, the Soofa Sign, is an off-grid digital community bulletin board that furthers their mission to create urban ecosystems that inspire.
