Amy St. Peter is the Deputy Executive Director of the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), the regional planning agency for the Greater Phoenix region.

In this role, she coordinates diverse priorities and perspectives in the development of solutions that strengthen the vitality in one of the fastest growing areas in the country.

Ms. St. Peter earned a Master’s of Public Administration degree from Arizona State University in 2004 and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Writing from Loyola College in 1994. Ms. St. Peter serves on the Arizona Council for Transportation Innovation and is a founding member of the Greater Phoenix Smart Region Consortium. Her areas of expertise include organizational development, aging, smart regions, transportation, and civil rights.

MAG is the council of governments and metropolitan planning organization for an area greater than 10,000 square miles and 4.1 million people. The agency conducts regional planning in the areas of transportation, environmental quality, economic development, socioeconomic data analysis and visualization, and human services.
