Session Description

udelv is a Burlingame, CA-based company inventing autonomous delivery with a custom-made, public-road electric and autonomous vehicle. Since launching one of the world’s first self-driving delivery vehicles on public roads in February 2018, udelv has completed 1,000+ deliveries for several retailers. udelv dramatically decreases the cost of local deliveries, adds delivery window flexibility, and significantly reduces the carbon footprint of freight. The company is rapidly expanding its operations across the country in places like Arizona, and others to be announced. What are the implications of lean, affordable and autonomous delivery in cities?
