City Champions of Open Source: How It Works Within and For Cities

City Champions of Open Source

How It Works Within and For Cities

On September 9th, 2020, Meeting of the Minds will convened a free, live webinar featuring Bibiana McHugh of Portland TriMet, Sean Holman of Ellis and Associates, and Jascha Franklin-Hodge of the Open Mobility Foundation

Program

Now more than ever, governments need digital tools to effectively and equitably manage transportation in the rapidly evolving mobility space. To empower municipalities to dynamically manage the streets they are charged with governing, cities and their leadership are increasingly leveraging open data and turning to open source software solutions based on open standards built on a model of open governance. This methodology has been made possible through extensive collaboration and public-private partnership.

To learn more from three experts engaged in this work, join us for a webinar on September 9th with Open Mobility Foundation Executive Director Jascha Franklin-Hodge, Portland TriMet’s Bibiana McHugh (creator of GTFS), and Ellis & Associates’ VP of Product Sean Holman, as they discuss City Champions of Open Source: How It Works Within and For Cities.
