Mr. Miller is responsible for collaborative research with North American Universities that benefit societal mobility safety.
Mr. Miller joined Toyota in 1998 as a manager of Seat and Interior Functional Development. In 2001, he was Manager of Body Mechanical and Wiper Development, and in 2004 he became the Manager of Vehicle Safety and Crashworthiness. Scott was promoted to General Manager of VPD3 in 2006, and Executive Engineer of Vehicle Safety and Crashworthiness in 2014. In 2016 Scott became General Manager for the CSRC.
Prior to joining TMNA R&D, Mr. Miller worked as an engineer at Chrysler Corporation in Noise, Vibration and Harshness, and at Ford Motor Company in NVH and as a supervisor in Plastics Division Air Intake & Carbon Canister Design.
Mr. Miller holds a B.S.in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, and an MBA and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Michigan.
