Shaping the Future of Tech Opportunity for Richmond Youth
May 2, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm PDT
Please join us on Tuesday, May 2nd from 11am-1pm at RYSE Youth Center in Richmond as we think through the next phase of RYSE’s growth and expansion into the tech, entrepreneurship and leadership space. http://rysecenter.org/
The Hidden Genius Project recently announced that they have chosen Richmond as their next site for their award-winning coding, leadership, and entrepreneurship program for black youth. They will be expanding from their first site in Oakland to their second site in Richmond at the RYSE Youth Center: http://www.hiddengeniusproject.org/
RYSE also recently acquired the lot next-door to theirs from the County to build out a new tech, innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership campus. They are thinking about partnerships, tenants, funding, design, sustainability, off-the grid energy options, and more. They are already in discussions with UC Berkeley and others. Please join us as we work with them to shape and support the future of Richmond, the future of youth in Richmond, and the future of the Bay Area.
This is a rare opportunity to have a real and deep impact. We hope you will join us.
Please RSVP to Caroline Firman at email@example.com by April 28th. If you can’t make it but would like to suggest a colleague, we welcome them. We are capping capacity for this event at 25 so please RSVP as soon as possible.
